| This page will try to group the pieces many ways, to steer the listener to pieces they may like, or at least to give an idea of what to expect. Not just moods but also such things as instrumental groupings and exceptional length or brevity will be addressed. The listener may also be given some idea how "approachable" a piece is, and those pieces that are "scripted" will be shown, as well as those that may start at the beginning, be "hinged" in the middle, or pick things up well along the way (these concepts will be explained further in time). There are "lines of descent" among families of related pieces as well, although those will be addressed more fully on the composers pages. |
